Bring It On!!!

So it is that time of year again. Thanksgiving is today and everything is primed & ready to go. I have done all the leg work & extra baking & cooking of everything so all I have to do today is cook the turkey & the cresents. That leaves me the rest of my day to peel kids off of each other. The great battle still is on going in my house between the boy & his sisters. With each passing day I am more worried about his life LOL I took some action photos yesterday of the 1 year old & 2 year old on top of him, pinning him to the floor and pulling his hair.

The snow is falling along with all the freezeing rain. Which in turn means the sharpening sharks are out, they have been since about 1 am this morning. Ah the sharpening sharks, for those of you who don't know... I live in a very small town and we have these plow trucks that pass by our house (6 of them), in pairs. I guess like noah's arch 2 by 2 they come LOL Anyway if there is a single snowflake that will at some point hit the ground, these guys are running through town at 50 miles per hour. You can hear them a mile off before they even pass by the house, sparks flying and all.

Here is a good example to the sharks, they just kind of gather and wait to strike. Last winter there was a day that my husband left my driver window down and don't ya know it snowed like 2 feet. Well my truck was parked so the window was facing the road, even in the driveway off the road about 18 feet my tuck was filled. I bravely went out and emptied out my truck but in doing so I was spotted by the sharks. As my ass was hanging out of the truck and I was shoveling it out, a shark drove by at about 40 miles a hour. Therefore hurling upon me a tidal wave of snow that with such force threw me into a snow bank & filled my front seats back in.

So far this morning it just started snowing, so there isn't much on the ground. All through the night we had freezeing rain so everything is all pretty & shimmers. I am not going out that front door because I know the sharks are throwing ice today and ice hurts damn it. Nope I'll take my chances with all the kids, there is nothing they can throw at me that would hurt that much. Well there is the 18 pound turkey but we will cross that bridge when we get to it. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

A Witch & A Nun ??

So I have a neighbor that drives people around that have to go to the doctors but they don't drive for one reason or another. Well he landed himself in the hospital for a 7 day stay, he is out now and doing much better by the way. At any rate while he was in the hospital I got a phone call from one of his clients that he drives to the doctors. Sister June, who by the way is a Catholic nun, now if your wondering where the Witch part of the title comes in well that would be me. I am a Witch of the Wiccan faith and I have to say there is really nothing like a road trip with a Witch & a Catholic nun in a truck ROFL
sister June gets in the truck after using a step stool, and the first thing she does is say a prayer to St. Micheal. She prays to him to provide a safe journey to where ever it is that we are going, as my Amethyst crystal sways from my front mirror for good luck. As far as the conversation goes, there is no way I could describe it any better than very strange, as strange goes ;)

there has been a lot that has happened since my last blog and I will try to slowly bring you up to speed. Slowly because I don't want to lose you & because the blog would be so freakin long. So I will wrap it up here for now as you sit there and imagine yourself on a 5 hour road trip in a truck, with a Witch & a Catholic Nun
